VITAMINS, MINERALS AND SUPPLEMENTS
One supplement I started taking that made a huge difference in how I feel is sub-lingual B12. The sustained energy I felt was something I hadn't had for a while! It's easy to find and economical.
I was watching Valerie Saxon on TV one day and she recommended that every woman take 1000 mg of Evening Primrose and 400 iu of vitamin E. WOW! What a difference it made! I am "40 something" right now and monthly issues are sometimes... well... ISSUES! But since taking E.P and Vit. E I find that I feel much more constant in my moods and feel that I am off that roller coaster of emotions more often than I am on it.
For sleeping! 2 to 6 mg. of MELATONIN have really helped me out when I've had trouble getting to sleep.
WATER!!
Clean, pure water is essential for every function of your body. We should all be drinking at least 64 ounces a day, but ideally we drink half our body weight in ounces... for example if I weigh 140 pounds I would need to drink 70 oz. of water to keep my body hidrated. It sounds like a HUGE amount, but I usually drink my coffee out of a BIG mug. let's say it's 20 ounces. I can easily drink 3 cups of coffee without even thinking about it and that puts me at 60 oz. already! Sadly, coffee doesn't count. It should be water, but if you squeeze a lemon in it or make it an herb tea I would count that... : )

FOOD... one of my favorite subjects! I love being in the kitchen, teaching my children how to cook. It makes me happy to see others enjoying what has come out of my kitchen. Now we are learning to make healthier choices. Like anything, the more you know, the easier it is to make right choices.
God wants His body to be set apart... to stand out. One of the ways that we will stand out from the rest of the world is in our health.
I believe the Lord is leading us to better health His way. He has brought us great teachers like Dr. Don Colbert, Dr. Jordan Rubin, and others to teach us how and what to eat.
Choosing to make a few changes in what you eat will make a huge difference in your health.
It won't be easy, but the rewards you'll reap far outweigh the discomfort of having your flesh scream at you for a little while.
Make a decision to get informed and make the changes that God leads you to. You'll be glad you did!
